if your worried use/make a spam email account for websites/forums such as this, and dont use the same password you usually use on them...
Its not like this website host your creditcard info or anything, all that is done on a secure page..

So while registering, I tried going to the https version of the forum. Didn't work. This should be fixed, both for registrations & logins, as you're entering secure data (email & password) and of course it should be made default. Registering or logging in through an insecure page shouldn't be an option. |

Hm, I need to research how this is done. I think I would have to purchase a security certificate. |
