Hello,
I use Windows 7 with Classic start menu and explorer.
The horizontal scroll bar used to be in explorer with the setting in the Classic Explorer. However, this morning I noticed that it is now missing.
I tried removing it in Classic Explorer, and then applying it again, but still missing. is there some other criteria?

Btw, the horizontal scroll bar will only show if the Explorer navigation pane is narrow enough that it is unable to show the full folder name.

Attached is a screenshot of my explorer.
Yes I realise that the folder pane needs to be narrower than the text to show the horizontal scroll bars.

Edit: Just noticed, when I try to horizontal scroll with the mouse (2 fingers left or right), the folders pane does not move. The file pane works fine.

Found the problem.
In Internet Options\Programs\Manage Add-ons the Classic Explorer Bar was disabled.
Just had to enable it and after re-launching explorer the horizontal scroll bar appeared.
