Hello,

I've been using a toolbar button emptying the Recycle Bin.

I'd like the icon to reflect the Full/Empty state.
Is it possible to use the Recycle Bin's original command? Any other way to achieve that?

I'd appreciate your help.

I don't think this is possible with the Explorer toolbar extensibility mechanism.

This may not suit your needs, but I use Sys Tray Recycler app for my recycle bin. It is safe, does not use much resources and is very customizable. In the attached snapshot, it is the small blue square in the taskbar next to the hidden icon symbol. I use a blue square for empty bin and a red square for full bin. Mouseover shows the number and size of items in recycle bin when you click on taskbar icon. You can look it over at: http://www.askvg.com/systemtray-recycle ... tion-area/
