Hello all, Newbie here, so pls be gentle, not a PC whizzkid or anything, just looking to install Classic IE and experiencing difficulties. I have done a search to see if it is covered, but none of the solutions work for me.
When I click on the "Home" icon on IE, it says "Menu Bar, Favourites Bar, Command bar, Status Bar", these are all ticked and can be unticked. Underneath is "Classic Explorer Bar" but this cannot be ticked or unticked.

Any ideas? All necessary enablements are done..... Thanks in advance.

PS I LOVE Classic Shell. It has stopped me having a nervous breakdown. I hate Windows 8. And 7. And Vista.:D

Classic IE restores the page title and status bar features to Internet Explorer 9/10/11.

The Classic Explorer Bar (toolbar) is only added to Windows Explorer, not to Internet Explorer. IE already has a built-in toolbar called the "Command Bar".

The addons need to be enabled for them to work according to the instructions here: http://www.classicshell.net/faq/#explorer_toolbar The reason the Classic Explorer bar shows up in IE's list of addons is because both File Explorer and Internet Explorer share the same architecture for add-ons.
