Hey,

we like to use Classic StartMenu in our TerminalServer environment. My first idea was to realize it this way...

1. The shortcuts stay in the well-known folder "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu"
2. Every shortcut gets edited permissions for special Groups, for expample "Group_1" who can read these shortcut. Other users have no permission to read these shortcut.
3. By user logon, he can see only icons he is entitled for.

My problem is, ClassicShell shows me the "dead" Shortcuts too, means the shortcuts the user isn't entitled for.

Ist it possible, to hide these dead links?

Many thanks Steffen
