No, no plans for that. Classic Shell has its own system for disabling the corners, which is much less intrusive.

Ok fair enough, the other thing that I liked is that the fact that it also stop the metro coming up when you press the "win" key on the keyboard, does classic shell do the same as well?

Also will it bring up the start menu (classic shell version) when I press the "win" key?

(Just so that you know, I'm switching from start8 or whatever it called)

You can select what happens when you press the Win key - get the start screen, the start menu, or nothing at all.

Is there any way of disabling swipe gestures (esp. the irritating right to left swipe for Charms Bar) with Classic Shell? Or is it inadequate to only have Classic Shell on your Windows 8?

Yes there is a way to turn off the swipe gestures but not using Classic Shell. It depends on your touchpad drivers. See here: http://tipsandtricksforum.com/thread-15 ... tqLul3xtdg

I am using fxxkmetro with Windows 8.1. One issue with it is that when metro is killed, Explorer gets too long to terminate when shutting down or rebooting or logging off.

I now fixed this problem by creating these scripts and modifying accordingly the Classic Shell menu items.
