I am running into this problem ever since I've installed Windows 7. I've reformated and reinstalled it plenty of times since then - always the same problem.
Look at my video, you will see that InfoTips work on some files, and not others. What the heck is that? Why? And most importantly - how can I fix that?
It seems to be related to file size. On files over 20(?) megabytes InfoTips are not displayed. Could it have something to do with Classic Explorer? I am in no way putting a finger on it, God forbid, but I know it interacts with explorer.exe process, so I'm just wondering.
In Windows XP it works without issues... On the same files.
EDIT: No, I've dismissed file size claim - it seems to work on some ~20 megabyte files, and not work on other ~7 megabyte files...
