Classic Shell: Forum

I have installed classic shell on both my desk top and lap top

When I open my picture folder on my desk top and click on a picture file the Windows Photo Viewer opens up and I like it that way.

When I open my picture folder on my lap top and click on a picture file the Windows Photo Viewer DOES NOT open up it opens as windows 8.

all of the picture icons have the check box in the upper left on my lap top but not on my desk top

I did the same install on both systems but with different results

I have checked all of the settings on both systems and they are the same.

What should I be looking for

This is not related to Classic Shell.
You need to change the default program that handles images.
Right-click on the file -> Open with -> Choose default program.
