I had to do a clean install of Windows 8 and after installing CS 4.0 beta clicking on the Shutdown button doesn't do a shutdown anymore. Instead it goes to a Windows menu giving me choices. I think there was an option in CS to make Shutdown the default but I can't find it. Can someone tell me where it is? Thanks. |

Actually it depends on the style. For Classic styles you have to edit the command for the ShutdownBoxItem in the Customize Start Menu tab. For Windows 7 style the setting is named "Shutdown command" near the bottom of the Main Menu tab. |

I'm using the Classic Style. What exactly do I have to do to get the action I want? |

Also, make sure the "Split Button item" checkbox is checked (if you are using the Classic style). |

Double-click on the ShutdownBoxItem near the bottom of the "Current menu items" in the Customize Start Menu tab. Change the command from shutdown_box to shutdown. Or to restart. Or to whatever you want. |
