Post subject:  Windows 8 Active Corner Start screen Bug?

Just thought I would report what may be a tiny bug...
I have Classic Shell Start Menu set at default - just installed in Windows 8 64 bit.
In the
"Settings for Classic Start Menu 3.6.5", "Windows 8 Settings" tab, the option to "Disable active corners" for the "Start screen" is checked.
This works correctly for a horizontal taskbar on the bottom.
But with a taskbar on the left, right or top, the Start screen active corner still shows up when hovering over the lower left corner.
And another suggestion which I'm sure is impossible but I will just mention it anyways. Why couldn't Windows 8 finally make it so a vertical taskbar on the left or right side can have a narrow appearance with the small icons??? I thought Microsoft would fix this in Windows 8 but vertical taskbars are still forced to be WIDE!
Thanks for Classic Shell Ivo! With Windows 8, it's more important than with Windows 7! Who knew Mircrosoft would get rid of the Start Menu altogether???

That's by design. Look at the tooltip for that setting. The idea is that if the bottom/left corner is mostly a problem if the start button is there.
If you want to disable every hot corner, you have a setting for that too.
