I think it is the setting "Show recently open items in Jump Lists on Start or the taskbar" in the Personalization -> Start settings.

All of a sudden recent documents stopped working. Haven't changed anything. Been reinstalling all versions, now latest 4.3.0 no change. Installation Went well no other problems. Track latest docuements setting is checked in settings. Just recent documents shows empty, nothing, help appreciated! |

You may have disabled the tracking of recent documents in Windows. The setting is in different places on different versions of Windows, but usually near the taskbar settings. |

Hi Ivo! Thank you for replying and your help! I'm using windows 10.586.214 pro x64 I can't find any setting for that in windows, or near the taskbar. Do you know where more exactly? |
