Some people very much dislike the Windows navigation bar primarily for its huge vertical size and disable it.
Some of them also use third-party navigation bars, but they often work unreliably.

It would be great to have forward, back buttons and address bar on the Classic Explorer toolbar so that it could be used as a navigation bar replacement.

You can have forward and back in the toolbar. They don't have built-in icons though so you'll have to provide your own.
No address bar is possible with CE.

Here are Back and Forward icons (free license and no back link required, taken from iconfinder.com):

Don't you know, where in Windows I can find back and forward buttons used in MMC?

Used in WHAT???

Um...if you want the ones used in stock Windows 7 explorer, you can find them in C:\WINDOWS\system32\explorerframe.dll . That remains true for Windows 8 and 10...for some reason...

The MMC Back/Forward icons are in MMC.exe. They're in bitmap format, so I went ahead and converted them to ICO so you can use them with Classic Shell.

Edit:
I decided to convert all of the MMC toolbar icons, so the attachment has been updated.

I do like the idea of a CE address bar, but that's ultimately up to Ivo. If it isn't implemented as a feature in Classic Shell, maybe someone else can do it.

Nice icons. It's a shame Microsoft didn't make them bigger.

There are bigger versions in files netshell.dll and xpsrchvw.exe but they are turned 90 degrees (i.e. pointing up and down). A green version is also in wlangpui.exe and cliconfig.rll, also up and down.

Alright, so I rotated the ones from netshell.dll to work as the back/forward buttons. They work surprisingly well, I must say. Unfortunately, I'm not sure there are larger versions of the other MMC toolbar icons (such as the Up Button icon). Shame, I think they look kind of nice (they actually kind of remind me of some of the later Longhorn builds).
