I continuously frustrates me that when I need to get near the right edge of the screen the damn charms access slides out and covers up what I'm trying to do. I suggest you add a feature to Classic Shell that prevents that thing from coming out. I essentially never go to the charms screen but if I were to need to I can click the Start button and select "Start Screen" at the top of the popup list or WinKey+C. I use the desktop access thingy on the far bottom-right to bring up the desktop and at least half the time that thing slides out. If some people like to be annoyed by it (though I can't imagine why) you could make turning it off an option.

Look for a setting called "Disable active corners" in the "Windows 8 Settings" tab.
