I am having a odd issue where when I open up file explorer either by going to 'this pc' on classic shell or opening file explorer via the start menu, I will navigate 2 folders down on C: and then 2 instances of a file explorer window will open up on the same sub folder. If I browse to the D: a separate window will be right at root. What is going on here? All I want is 1 window for everything. I do not want separate windows opening.

Is this a bug how classic shell works with file explorer in windows 10?

Please help. Thank you so much.

If you suspect the problem is caused by Classic Shell, temporarily uninstall it and see if anything changes.
Your settings will be preserved for the next time you install it.

Well this is really odd. Uninstalled classic shell and it still does it. Sometimes it opens 2 windows, sometimes it doesn't. What the heck could be causing this. OCD is going batty.
