Yep. It's a shame what Microsoft Windows 10 has done to Classic Shell.

The last couple of weeks my Win 10 computer is taking it's time opening programs.

No virus, no malware. I decided to turn off indexing for drive C.

I'm watching the animation in the processing box window,
whatever you call it. see picture. The motion is so slow.
I then exited Classic Shell menu.
Bam, the animation in that window box speeds up to normal speed.
So probably another Microsoft update, the last one on my history is KB4058043,
and I think it is crippling CSM. I have not installed any program for at least a month.
I want to swear, but that's the way it is now with Microsoft.

Crumbs :?
I have to eat my words.
I tried again and now animation slows even without CSM running.
That's actually good news, it's not CSM. :)
Sorry, I must have something else going on.
Time to get out the vacuum cleaner and do some spring cleaning inside my computer!

Yes, something in explorer, but what?
Every day computer getting slower, and slower. Would take 5 to 10 seconds to open up explorer, task manager, CSM settings. Then I remember that famous group of words, that rarely did anything:

"Did you try turning it off, and back on again?"

Before I restarted, I looked on task manager. It said uptime 19 days.
I have had computer running for a couple of months before, without any problem. I also noticed Microsoft update was installed 16 days ago, without forced restart.

I tried the restart thingy. I don't believe it. Computer is snappy fast again!
Was it Microsoft update? Don't know, but something was clogging up computers arteries.

Glad that's over. :)
