Hello, I currently have a windows server 2012 R2 server running Citrix Zenapp 7.6 and we have Classic Shell 4.2.5 installed to replace the Awful metro interface for our users. The issue we have came across when our users navigate on file explorer and scroll down through the lists of folders and file, in about 7 seconds it seems to refresh and force them to the top of the list. This occurs also when renaming folders and files. making it almost impossible for them to work. Has anyone else had any of these issues?
Thanks, Nick

I had seen this issue on Windows 10 if you have set a desktop background slideshow. Anyway, I don't think it's related to Classic Shell.

I think it classic shell has something to do with it because it wasn't happening until we installed it, and was wanting to see if anyone else had the same issue. I have seen where windows 10 has had the same issue but is unrelated because it dealt with the new Accent color and rotating wallpaper that isnt an option in Server 2012 R2. We have a static wallpaper on all profiles.

You can temporarily turn off Classic Shell components and see if the issue occurs:
- Go to Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Programs tab -> Manage add-ons and Disable the Classic Explorer Bar and ExplorerBHO Class. Click That will turn off the Explorer components. Now open Explorer and see if the problem disappears or still occurs. Then you can enable the Explorer add-ons again.
- You can temporarily exit Classic Start Menu by right clicking it and choosing Exit.

Yup. Slideshow vs accent "refreshing windows" issue. I've seen some cases reported in MS Answers and W,Central.
