I am on CS 4.0.2 and it worked great until Windows 8.1 upgrade. After the upgrade, the start menu kept being replaced by the Windows metro start on the lower left corner. I can bring it back by running ClassicStartMenu.exe but it will soon be replaced again. Any fix to this? |

Have you done a Repair installation of Classic Shell 4.0.2 after upgrading to Windows 8? That is supposed to be done. Also right click the Start button -> Settings and check what "Left click opens" and what "Windows key opens" is set to. |

Left Click opens: Classic Start Menu Windows key opens: Classic Start Menu How do you run the repair installation? |

Never mind, I found out how to run the repair and did it. Now, let's see if it fixes the problem. |
