When I want to change start menu settings I right-click on the start button to bring up the settings/help/exit menu. However most custom start buttons contain transparent areas and right clicking on them is like clicking 'through' the button: It brings up the Win+X menu as if you had right clicked on the normal windows logo underneath.
A workaround is to create start buttons which don't use more than 99% transparency but ideally right clicking anywhere on the buttons should work.
Also, it would be great if we could make the settings/help/exit menu appear by right clicking on empty areas of the main start menu
