@Jcee, if I am not mistaken, he means Internet Explorer, not Windows Explorer.

I am wondering if Classic IE9 could implement pinned tabs like Google Chrome or Firefox do. Once a tab is pinned, it is always open in the browser, auto restored and cannot be closed. The concept is just like Favorites except that pinned tabs are auto loaded. |

in order to have pinned tabs.. it would have to have tabs.. you may be looking for QTtabsBar: http://qttabbar.wdfiles.com/local--files/download/QTTabBar_128.zip it gives windows explorer a tabbed interface and can lock the tabs |
