Post subject:  New user preinstall questions

New forum member and user for Classic Shell. System is Win 10 Pro 64 bit.

I've downloaded the latest stable build and have a few questions prior to install.
Reading the FAQs I noticed this about the proper way to uninstall CS:

What is the right way to uninstall Classic Shell?
To uninstall Classic Shell follow these steps:
Stop the start menu if it is installed (right-click on the start button and select “Exit”)
Assume this means the start button in the newly installed Classic Start?
Open a new Windows Explorer window
Make sure the toolbar is hidden (if you uninstall while the toolbar is visible, the menu bar in Explorer will get stuck in the visible state and you won’t be able to hide it)
What toolbar is this referring to? The standard Menu bar or the custom toolbar? Screenshot attached
Close all Windows Explorer windows
Open Control Panel -> Programs and Features and double-click on Classic Shell. Then follow the instructions. You may have to restart Windows to complete the process.
If you installed any additional skins for the start menu you will have to delete them manually

TIA for replies.

Yes, the start button means the current start button - either the Classic Shell button or the default Windows 10 button. The uninstaller will attempt to close the start menu, but if it doesn't, you can help it by exiting the start menu yourself.

The toolbar instructions are mostly for Windows 7. Windows 10 has a ribbon, so the menu is not that important.
