1) Totally bypass the metro8 start screen "no visual presence AT ALL till it's closed in 1 second by classicshell"

It only doesn't appear in the preview release with classic shell but still pops in 8.1 & is closed right away like an unstable system ((

2) Ability to customize the header bar of all windows, apps, browsers, folders.. the way xp or win 2000 was.


Anything can be programed, please make an effort Ivo.

1) On Windows 8.1 there is a setting to boot directly to the desktop. You don't see the metro screen at all

2) You need a custom theme. Look for help on eightforums or deviantart

1) Let me guess, "skip metro screen" ? it's checked & in windows 8.1, it just does what i stated above, it's not bypassed (totally), metro still pops & disappears.


2) true, and that means my entire settings like text font, size on desktop or on windows tittlebar and background and deskbar & other settings i hardly changed through
the registry because tweaking them on win8.1 is not possible anymore through appearances, will be lost. moreover, i have searched deviantart months ago, there's nothing
that brings the win2000 or xp default theme & titlebar architecture to windows 8.1 unless i use third party software & it's Buggy. So i guess i won't have that patch from you,
nor nowhere else.

1) No, it is a Windows setting. Right-click on the taskbar, select Properties, and then go to the Navigation tab.

i do not have that tab, it's a microsoft downgrade from win8 preview to higher releases

Well, you mentioned 8.1 in your OP. For Windows 8 Classic Shell tries to switch to Desktop as soon as possible after it launches, and is designed to launch very early. If that's not early enough for you, there are few other programs you can try, like Skip Metro Suite.

I tried that app before & it didn't make a difference, but i'll try it again..
