heyas! i've been looking for this, but i can't find it... i DID find the 'infotips' controls, but these only pertain to items in the start menu. what i want is to have hovertips on the icons in the task bar. i have hovertips in the system tray, but not the task bar itself. for example, i run winamp. in xp, when i hover the cursor over the winamp icon in the task bar, a hover tip will pop up, stating the info of the song playing. um... im using classic style with windows 7 pro 64bit, and the 7+ taskbar tweaker for the skinny side task bar. is there a setting for what i'm looking for? thanks a bunch! |

Tooltips on the taskbar do show in Windows 7/8/10 but with a bit of delay unlike XP where they showed faster. For running programs, Windows 7/8/10 show a taskbar thumbnail. 7+ Taskbar Tweaker can turn them off and force programs to show a tooltip. |
