Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I don't know where else to look.

Is there a way to change the navigation/other aero buttons (back/forward/search) in explorer windows using the Classic theme? Every tweak i've used (customizergod/navigationbuttonschanger/explorerframe.dll) only affects Aero or other 3rd party themes.

Is it something to do with shellstyle.dll in system32? I can't find any bitmap resources in there to replace what i want to replace.

It's not shellstyle.dll, it's explorerframe.dll . There are two sets of buttons in there, one for with Visual Styles, one for without. If you look closely, you'll notice that the Classic Theme ones look slightly...off.

(Also, on a more amusing note, I'd be able to give you a pre-edited DLL if you were on Windows 8.1, but an 8.1 DLL won't work on 7, sadly...)
