Can Classic Shell install on React OS ? • http://www.reactos.org

I doubt it, even if it has the binaries to run it, Im pretty sure classic shell use integral system files, that likely just aren't there with reactos..
unlike a game, that is generally self contained. classic shell relies on system files, and even file locations that may not even be present with reactOS.
Im not saying it wont work, but I think its likely quite a few serious bugs would crop up, even if you get it to run..
Though thinking about it, I think the installer would probably just crash or something .

Right. Chances are almost nil that the installer will work. If you install on a Windows PC and then just copy the files, there is a slim chance it might work. It is very unlikely though, because the software relies on many undocumented behaviors of specific versions of Windows. ReactOS probably doesn't emulate them all.

ReactOS is currently writing a new shell that will be compatible with WinXP shell internally. Thus this question reduces to whether Classic Shell can work on WinXP/2000.

Not in its current form. Classic Shell uses many features that are only available on Vista and Windows 7.
