The help says "You can access the settings of Classic Explorer from the toolbar or from the start menu:"

This doesn't tell me enough. I open the start menu and can not find anything about Classic Explorer Settings. How do I access Classic Explorer Settings FROM THE START MENU?

p.s. I've tried searching in the forums, but, I find the search utility useless. It ignores the word "classic" and the word "settings". It won't allow me enter a long phrase, like that quoted above from the help.

thank you

Joe P.

Start -> Programs -> Classic Shell -> Classic Explorer Settings. Or you can search for: classic explorer settings. Another way is to right click the toolbar it adds to Explorer and choose Classic Explorer Settings. You can also assign a hotkey to the shortcut in the Start Menu e.g. Ctrl+Shift+X. Then pressing it will directly open the shortcut.

It would be nice if one could search for a "particular phrase" and then ignore the common word filter.
