Well.....XP had, for a "Start" button, lower left, a green rectangle with the Gates Flag on the left side, and lower case "start" in white letters to the right of the flag. I looked through all I could find on the website...I find all sorts of various icons to download, like Warcraft and hearts and such. Just was not sure if that was part of CS. Sorry...I have somewhat limited acuity in recent years, I just need something I am used to, like XP, and your program is starting to look like the ticket. (boy am I happy for spell check). On the taskbar, to the immediate right of the start button, are icons. What I use, and set up that way on each bootup, are, from the left, OE (or whatever e-mail program I am using), IE, FF, and desktop. I am trying out Start8, which almost does what I need....I can live with it...but yours looks like it does it all. With Start8, I can, in fact, get the XP start button, and it's a good spot for these old eyeballs to catch. However, you cannot change the icons for the rest of it, nor put an actual desktop icon on the taskbar. Close, but it requires a right click, then select desktop. When I am very tired and sore, remembering new commands to find stuff isn't as easy as it was 20 years ago. Yes, they tell me the desktop icon is on the far left on 8, but do you think I can remember that? Nope! Ah, they tell me, hit the flag key. I never had to hit a flag key on 3.1, 95, ME, 98, or XP, so something that has been automatic for finding my way around isn't any longer. The video I watched on Classic Shell looked just like my XP screen when I watched it. Hopefully I haven't rambled on.......Dave
