Thanks for the amazing Classic Shell. A request for the Start Menu: a quick way (right-click on Start Button option, or keyboard shortcut for example) to immediately remove all newly installed programs/apps highlights. This will prevent changing the "Highlight newly installed programs" option every time (so we can still keep an eye if something unwanted is installed) and having to manually remove multiple highlights (which can be a pain when there are many of them).

I know the highlight auto-expires after some time (48hrs?) but this would make it significantly more user-controllable.

I agree. Heck, adding to that, an option to mark applications as newly installed would be good for skin authors too.

Have you tried right-clicking on the highlighted folder?

All Programs now has "Remove highlight" in right click menu starting with Classic Shell 4.3.0.
