So in Win 8.1 the native on/off switch for Bluetooth is in the PC settings metro screen, making it a pain to access, but you can get there in one click by adding this to your start menu, either as a shortcut or menu item.

First extract the two scripts from the .zip to a suitable path.

Then create a menu item in Classic Start Menu as follows:

Command:
[PATH]\BatchHideConsole.vbs [PATH]\BluetoothSettings.bat

Label:
Bluetooth

Icon:
%SystemRoot%\system32\DevicePairingFolder.dll, 200

You can just search for it and right click -> Pin to Start menu (Classic Shell).
