I have used Classic Shell for changing the interface of my laptop that uses windows 10 and it worked very nice for some days. I was very happy with this app.
But, unfortunately, few days ago Windows 10 took over Classic Shell and now my laptop looks bad again.
I compared the Classic Shell Settings with another computer using the app and I did not discover any differences.
Could you please help me with some guidance to recover back my Windows 7 settings?

Many thanks!:)

Florin

with windows 10, just back up your data and downgrade OS to windows 8.1 or 7

So the settings page opens when you go to classic shells install directory? does running the settings page 'fix' your issue until a system restart?

Its possible you were upgraded to the fall creators update, which some people are reporting incompatibility with

click the windows start menu and type 'winver' to confirm 1709 is the fall creators update.

You also may be able to get it working by reinstalling classic shell.

Other than that... good luck because classic shell isnt being updated anymore
