I would really apreciate a way to adjust the screen offset for the start menu, and the start button individually for each monitor on my setup.

My 'desktop' goes off my Tv screen by about half an inch on the left side, (by design)
Im using http://www.donationcoder.com/Software/Mouser/desktopcoral/ to keep maximized applications properly aligned, however this doesnt adjust the taskbar and classic shell remains partially off-screen on one of my monitors. If there was a way to add an individual offset to this screen alone everything would be perfect


And Yes i could adjust my displays horizontal size, and horizontal offset options to get the screen aligned, but then there is physical space, but no virtual space between my screens...

My only other option is to add this same extra space to my other screen, run another copy of desktop coral and create a custom start button and custom skin with extra space on the side. Though i would like to have atleast 1 desktop that actually matches my screen size properly because i know any applications that go fullscreen will be cut off

I am trying to stay away from having per-monitor settings. I don't know a good way to uniquely identify monitors in a persistent way.

maybe thats a question to ask the display fusion team

also just finished adjusting the spacing on my skin and icon to match right. (though there is still the issue with fullscreen apps going offscreen, but ill just have to live with that, or re-adjust my screen

does this help properly identify monitors?

and when you say in a persistent way, what exactly do you mean (could you give me an example or 2 where it might 'bug' and not display properly? system restarts?, updates?, resolution changes?)

What I get from Windows is a handle to a monitor. The value is valid only for the current session. I can't use it to store settings because after a reboot (or maybe even log off, or maybe after you unplug the monitor) the value will change.
Besides, the current settings UI is not suited for showing variable number of settings.
So no, at the moment there are no plans to have per-monitor settings.

It sucks that restarting causes issue.., windows is able to keep track of which monitor is where, isnt there a way to printscreen and parse the image, to determine where the other screen's begin? guess thats a little more complicated than youd like though

also @ current settings dialog; i wasnt looking for every setting to be changable on every monitor, however, all it would require visually is the addition of a dropdown list, that you could choose a monitor from, and it would default on an 'all monitors' item..
