After a windows 10 update today I experienced a huge problem. After logging in and the desktop opens the screen kept going blank and reloading icons over and over again. So I uninstalled classic shell and the computer went back to normal. However when I try to open the control panel I get the loading circle around the mouse pointer and then control panel closes and screen goes black and then the icons re-load on my desktop just like it did before I uninstalled classic shell.

Must be some link still active when opening up Control panel. PLease help!

That means your Explorer.exe is crashing. Capture a crash dump using these instructions: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6 and then uninstall Classic Shell until it is fixed.
