Hi again,

Any solution for this? How to set all new folders with disabled auto arange? Found many "solutions" how to edit registry but nothing worked :(.

At the moment I need to uncheck the auto arange for every single folder...

Thank you so much.

Your screenshot is from the Desktop. It is the only folder that supports custom icon positioning.

Have you tried Folder Options X?: http://free-sk.t-com.hr/T800soft/softwa ... ptions.htm It might help. Also after you disable auto arrange for one folder, open Explorer's Folder Options from the Tools menu (Windows 7) or the View tab of the Ribbon (Windows 8). Switch to the View tab of Folder Options and click "Apply to folders". You may have to do this for folders of each template type - Pictures, Documents, Music, Videos and General.

Yes it is the wrong screenshot from desktop, but have this menu on normal folders too (maybe after reg tweaks).

Thank you GauravK I will try the tool.

Second idea I tried before, but unfortunaely it is not working. I was also not successfull in trying to change ALLfolders registry to unselect the auto arange
