Hi.
Would anybody know which white font, Windows 10 start menu uses?
I want to use same font/size in Classic Shell, because that font is easier to see.
It looks different than regular system Segoe UI. It almost has a spikey pixel look to it.

I tried Segoe UI Semibold, bold, different sizes.
Still can't figure it out, why theirs looks sharper?

Interesting observation.
Using Winaero Tweaker, I can change the whole system font to a different one, along with Classic Shell start menu,
but it does not have any effect on Windows 10 start menu font.
I have a feeling, Microsoft uses a special font with additional processing, to get that look.

Maybe it has a different smoothing option? Try changing the "Font smoothing" setting in the Menu Look tab.

Yep, tried that.
Which led me to try a different test

Those sneaky devils.
I think I've come to the conclusion, that Microsoft has tweaked Clear Type text for their start menu separately.

If I purposely set Clear Type for super fuzzy text, using the settings in Windows font folder,
all the system fonts in windows look terrible, but Windows start menu text still looks sharp, exactly the same.
See the other picture below. The menu is in front of a text document file window.

I'll have to find a better font on the net that is like Tahoma I guess.
