Using W7 style menu I have my User File as a menu. It is missing 'AppData' on the flyout. It is a hidden file but I overide that in Folder Options. Seems you aren't honoring that.

Items with hidden attribute are always hidden in any system menu or Classic Shell's menu irrespective of folder options. It's a feature so items can be hidden in the menu.

If true then I think there should be an option in CSM to show hidden files just like it works in Folder Options or on a selective basis within CSM.

I just unhid Appdata and it now displays.

not that i support the feature, but actually a hotkey would be better in my opinion :P, maybe the files only get shown while alt is being held down or something :P

One way to access the contents of hidden folders is type their path into the search box: e.g. %userprofile%\Appdata\
