Hi,

I am getting a strange behavior after updating to Windwos 10 1709 "Fall Creators update"

When I press "shutdown" to turn off my PC, it will initiate the shutdown (and also say "shutting down" with the blue background) , but then a second later my PC will show the Welcome screen, as if I have just logged on.

If I type "Shutdown -s -f -t 0" in the search bar, it shuts down with no issue.

I guess Classic Shell needs an update?

Classic shell hasn't been updated for the fall creators update, however what you are experiencing seems to be a bug (I'm not experiencing it and am also on 1709) It may be unrelated to classic shell; try exiting classic shell via right click, and selecting shutdown in the windows 10 start menu to see if that fails too..
