If I select "Disable glass transparncy" under Skin tab, it does remove transparency of the menu but also it changes the color of the menu to a much lighter shade of blue. I have ClassicShell 4.0.2 on Windows 8.1 64-bit. Any comments you guys might have.

Yes, the color shade changes when it is made opaque. You can adjust the color by adjusting the glass intensity and color blending values. Maybe this post will help: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1186&p=6210#p6210 I made a skin installer that tries to set the matching color depending on whether you choose your taskbar+Start menu to be opaque or transparent.
