Hello,

In the FAQ on this website for Classic IE9, it shows THREE add ons for Ivosoft.
All I see under IE9 add ons for Ivosoft is "ExplorerBHO Class" and "Classic Explorer Bar".

This browser helper object "ClassicIE9BHO" is not shown under my add ons.
I tried a "repair" reinstall of the Classic Shell software, but it's still not there.

Does anyone out there know why not? And how I can get it? I'm running Windows 7 SP1 and IE9.
Thanks!

Hm, it should show up. Are you sure you installed it? If you installed Classic Shell while IE8 is installed, the ClassicIE9 component will be unchecked in the installer.

Hi Ivo,

OK, I did install Classic Shell right after a fresh install of Win7 and before upgrading from IE8 to IE9.
This was done so I could navigate more quickly with classic menus.
I don't recall a grayed out menu option.

Is there a way I can get the IE9BHO add-on to show up and enable it?

Thanks!

ClassicIE9 will not be grayed out, just unchecked by default (a red X).
You can run the installer again, then select Change and should be able to add the missing component.

That worked!!!

You've got a fantastic product here!
I feel right at home again working on my PC with a shell (IE and Explorer) that I've been using for years.

Thank you for your prompt help!... It's VERY appreciated!

Tony
